Castaway has notified Swampland that there has been a delay in delivery of the two pieced casting and spinning seats used on the AIRRUS rods.
A design flaw was detected in the shape and depth of the reel slot in the rear piece of all seats previously manufactured. The seats on the AIRRUS Rods have been modified by deep seat reshaping, by hand, at the factory to minimize the possibility that reels will jump loose during shock loading.
All test market seats sold at the ICRBE were manually reconfigured for deepening at the Castaway Plant in Montgomery, Texas prior to transfer to Swampland Tackle.
New seats have been ordered for the custom building market that correct this flaw. When the corrected part is in stock we will immediately accept orders for the new and imprvoved two piece lightweight reel seats.
